Grain Free Dog Treats-What We Learn From Meeting Dog Owners

As I previously posted, Fido Dog Treats recently set up shop at an AKC sanctioned and benched dog show. Although we were positioned as vendors, we were not selling anything at this show. Instead, we were spreading the word about our company with an emphasis on a several key points. Don't Give Your Dog Smelly Bully Sticks

Bully sticks are a great dog chew but are they all created equal? Well you can trust me when I say that the answer is a simple "No" or you can go buy some discount bully sticks for your dog and find out at your own peril. The reality is that inferior bully sticks can literally stink up a room as well as the fur around your dog's mouth. Of course that would happen to be the same malodorous fur that your dog likes to nuzzle up against you before laying a loving lick across your cheek. Or am I thinking of my late great aunt that my parent's made me hug as a young child?

Treat Your Dog To Fruity Treats

Fruitty Pear

When it comes to fresh fruit, I am an unashamed glutton. Give me the choice of a chocolate bar or a ripe nectarine and I'll go for the second option. I even ate pomegranetes before they were the "in" fruit. Apples and carrots, cut into small pieces, have long been advocated as simple, convenient training treats. Most dogs love the taste of fruit, whether fresh or as the primary ingredient in an organic dog treat or natural chew. I can't say this is universal as the dog of my youth wouldn't touch fruits or vegetables.
